About The Position
Join the Dunkin' team as an enthusiastic Cashier in a lively, fast-paced environment. The role focuses on providing friendly and efficient customer service, handling transactions, helping customers choose menu items, processing orders accurately, preparing coffee and other beverages, and keeping the counter and dining area clean. Team members work collaboratively, accept feedback, arrive reliably for scheduled shifts, resolve customer concerns, follow service and safety standards, and promote new items and offers. The posting welcomes candidates without prior experience who are willing to learn. The restaurant is independently owned and operated by a Dunkin' franchisee; if hired, the franchisee will be the employee's employer.
Requirements
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
- Team-oriented and ready to work in a dynamic environment.
- At least 18 years old.
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Comfortable using basic computers and POS systems.
- Must pass a drug test and criminal background check.
- No prior experience required; willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Be a friendly and energetic presence for customers.
- Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately.
- Assist customers with menu selections and answer questions.
- Process orders quickly and correctly.
- Prepare coffee and other beverages.
- Keep the counter and dining area clean and inviting.
- Work collaboratively with the team and maintain a positive, respectful work atmosphere.
- Be receptive to feedback and continued learning.
- Arrive on time and ready for scheduled shifts.
- Prioritize guest satisfaction and efficiently address customer concerns.
- Maintain Dunkin' standards for service and product quality.
- Introduce customers to new items and promotions.
- Follow procedures for cash handling, cleanliness, food safety, and workplace safety.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
