About The Position

Earth Fare Team Members help ensure customers have a fulfilling store visit by answering questions and meeting shopping needs. They support Earth Fare’s mission of helping people live healthy lives by guiding customers toward trusted healthy food and high-standard wellbeing and household products. The Cashier manages customer flow through quick, efficient, and accurate transactions while creating a welcoming atmosphere, collaborates with team members and managers across departments to provide helpful service, and maintains a clean and attractive front-end environment, including the cashier station and nearby merchandising and service areas. This is a part-time position at Earth Fare Columbia in Columbia, South Carolina. The role is categorized as experienced, with any shift, and pays $12.00–$14.00 per hour.

Requirements

Customer service experience or previous cash-handling experience is preferred.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Able to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and squat.
Able to push, pull, and maneuver heavy loads.
Able to stand and be on one's feet during the workday.
Able to work in a fast-paced, customer-service-focused environment and potentially in extreme cold.
