About The Position

Earth Fare Cashiers help ensure customers have a fulfilling store visit by answering questions, meeting shopping needs, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. In support of Earth Fare’s mission of helping people live healthy lives, Team Members guide customers toward healthy food and wellbeing and household products that meet the company’s standards. The Cashier manages customer flow and transactions, collaborates with colleagues across departments, and maintains a clean and attractive front-end environment.

Requirements

• Customer service experience or previous cash-handling experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and squat.
• Ability to push, pull, and maneuver heavy loads.
• Ability to stand and remain on one's feet during the workday.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer flow by providing quick, efficient, and accurate transactions in a welcoming atmosphere.
• Collaborate with team members and managers across departments to help customers receive answers and service.
• Maintain a clean and attractive front-end environment, including the cashier station and surrounding merchandising and service areas.
