About The Position

The Seasonal Cashier provides friendly customer service, helps customers shop and locate products, and delivers a fast, friendly checkout experience. The role includes cash handling, promoting the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, and helping customers complete enrollments and Voice of Customer surveys. Team members also assist with online order pickup and shipping processes, truck unloading, stocking, planograms, store recovery, merchandise returns, and keeping the store well-merchandised and in stock. The position supports safety and shrink programs, follows company procedures and policies, and may be cross-trained in Custom Framing sales and production. Other duties may be assigned.

This role is based in a public retail store. Team members may work in climate-controlled public areas, stock rooms that may not be climate controlled, and outdoors when retrieving carts or unloading trucks. Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings. The position requires standing for extended periods and frequent movement, bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching; heavy boxes may need to be lifted and high shelves accessed using a ladder or similar equipment. The frame shop includes a glass cutter and heat press. Applicants in the U.S. must meet applicable federal, state, and local legal requirements and be at least 16 years old. Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using a ladder or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and find solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience and handle cash according to standards.
• Promote the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers about the Voice of Customer survey.
• Assist with omnichannel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, including returns and general store recovery.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and ad-set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Follow standard operating procedures, company programs, policies, and standards to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
• Interact respectfully and positively with others, promote the organization’s vision and values, and serve as a role model for team members.
• Cross-train in Custom Framing sales and production.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
