About The Position

The Cashier/Sales Associate helps keep the store clean, safe, inviting, and running smoothly while providing friendly customer service. The role includes operating the register, selling age-restricted products in compliance with legal requirements, stocking merchandise, cleaning both indoor and outdoor areas, and helping in other departments such as deli when needed. The position is listed as full-time, third shift, at $14.00 per hour. Full-time and part-time schedules are available.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be prepared to work on their feet for most of the shift and work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.
• Must have basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
• Must frequently lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and be subject to a criminal history background check.
• Should be personable, positive, detail-oriented, reliable, responsible, and flexible.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is appreciated but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and operate the register accurately and efficiently.
• Handle lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales while following age-verification and legal requirements.
• Provide friendly service and upsell products when possible.
• Keep indoor and outdoor store areas clean and safe.
• Deep clean restrooms and sanitize gas pumps, including nozzles, screens, and water buckets.
• Pick up litter and trash from floors and the lot, and take trash to the dumpster in all weather conditions.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays.
• Sweep, mop, clean windows, and maintain entryways.
• Cross-train in other departments, including deli, as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Help team members and step in wherever needed.
