About The Position

The Cashier/Sales Associate serves customers, operates the register, supports sales, and helps keep the store clean, safe, stocked, and organized. The role includes maintaining cleanliness both inside and outside the store, including restrooms, gas pumps, the parking lot, and entryways. Associates may be cross-trained in other departments, including deli, and are expected to help wherever needed. The position requires working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions and being on one's feet for most of a shift. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, available to work weekends and holidays, and able to communicate effectively in English and perform basic math. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and operate the register accurately and efficiently.
Sell lottery, cigarettes, and alcohol while complying with age-verification and legal requirements.
Provide friendly customer service and upsell when possible.
Keep the store's interior and exterior clean and safe.
Deep clean restrooms and sanitize gas pumps, including nozzles, screens, and water buckets.
Pick up litter and trash from the floor and lot area, and take trash to the dumpster in all kinds of weather.
Stock shelves, coolers, and displays.
Sweep, mop, clean windows, and maintain entryways and overall store organization.
Cross-train in other departments, including deli, as needed.
Follow safety procedures and company policies.
Support the team and assist wherever needed.
