About The Position

The Cashier/Sales Associate supports store operations by serving customers, operating the register, promoting sales, and keeping the store clean, safe, and well stocked. The role includes cleaning indoor and outdoor areas—including restrooms, gas pumps, floors, windows, entryways, and the parking lot—and taking trash to the dumpster in all weather conditions. Requirements

Responsibilities

Greet customers and operate the register accurately and efficiently.
Handle lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales in compliance with age-verification rules and legal requirements.
Provide friendly customer service and upsell when possible.
Clean and maintain indoor and outdoor store areas, including restrooms, gas pumps, floors, windows, entryways, and parking-lot areas.
Take trash to the dumpster in all kinds of weather.
Stock shelves, coolers, and displays.
Cross-train in other departments, including deli, as needed.
