About The Position
As a Cashier Host for Wicked Spoon inside The Cosmopolitan, you will be the first and last impression of the guest experience, setting the stage for exceptional hospitality from the moment guests arrive. In this guest-facing role, you will warmly welcome and seat guests, manage reservations and waitlists, process transactions accurately, and partner closely with the service team to ensure a seamless dining experience. Your energy, professionalism, and attention to detail will help create memorable moments while representing the venue's brand and commitment to world-class service. All duties are performed in accordance with departmental policies, practices, and procedures.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Experience managing cash transactions in a high-volume environment.
- Experience interacting with guests in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they enter the outlet, determine applicable comps, points, or awards, and complete payment transactions through the POS system.
- Determine party size and special seating needs, and work with the team to locate and assist guests to their seating or table.
- Thank guests as they exit the buffet and assist with final guest needs or questions.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, including the cashier box, dining room, and service stations.
- Perform other job-related duties as requested.
