About The Position

As a Part Time Cage Cashier at The Cosmopolitan, you are an essential part of the guest experience. You process a variety of financial transactions accurately and professionally while providing welcoming, fast, and efficient service in a high-paced environment. You support internal and external guests and help ensure the smooth operation of cage services.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older.
• At least 1 year of high-volume cash handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform frontline transactions, including chip bank, poker, cage credit, employee bank/window transactions, and cashing all types of checks for guests within specified guidelines.
• Redeem chips, tokens, TITO (ticket in/ticket out), Race and Sports tickets, and acceptable types of foreign currency for casino guests.
• Conduct Marker and Front Money transactions on patron accounts.
• Assist casino guests by providing general information as needed.
• Perform functions in a marker/IOU bank and the High Limit cage.
• Service patron Kiosk/TRU units and employee Recycler/JetSafe units as needed.
• Secure and document all recordable transactions made with company assets.
• Complete electronic multiple transaction logs accurately and complete manual transaction logs as necessary.
• Issue or surrender safety deposit boxes.
