About The Position

Responsible for performing varied cashier, Caesars Rewards, and anti-money laundering (AML) functions in an upbeat, pleasant, and efficient manner, while maintaining the security of all funds entrusted during the shift. The role serves gaming guests by accurately processing cash and gaming-related transactions, communicating the Caesars Rewards loyalty program and property promotions, and providing positive, informative, and thorough customer contact. The cashier also completes required paperwork and follows departmental, company, regulatory, and internal-control policies.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
Strong written and verbal skills; ability to print and write legibly.
Fluency and literacy in English.
Maintain positive communication with coworkers at all levels and work as part of a team.
Be physically mobile with reasonable accommodations, including carrying up to 25 pounds and pushing or pulling up to 100 pounds.
Be able to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance while maneuvering around the work area.
Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.
Be able to work in areas with dust, secondhand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibration, crowds, and varying air quality.
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Listen and respond to visual and aural cues.

Previous computer skills, such as Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

Distribute money accurately to guests through check cashing, cash advances, conversion of coins, and conversion of gaming chips into currency.
Understand AML requirements and accurately log transactions that meet those requirements.
Accurately process Fast Cash ticket redemptions.
Identify different denominations of gaming chips and currency.
Communicate and execute components of the Caesars Rewards loyalty program for existing and new customers.
Understand and execute assigned property promotions.
Process Caesars Rewards Visa applications.
Ensure customer contact is upbeat, positive, informative, and thorough.
Accurately complete all cashier paperwork.
Know paid in/out policies and procedures.
Adhere to departmental, company, regulator, and internal-control policies.
Perform other related and compatible duties as assigned.
