About The Position

The Cash Operations Cashier provides guest service in the casino cage by handling cash transactions, redeeming chips, and processing jackpots. The role helps guests celebrate wins while ensuring accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent service. The listed schedule is 6 p.m.–2 a.m. Sunday and 5 p.m.–1 a.m. Wednesday through Saturday, with Monday and Tuesday off. Pay is $17.00 per hour, with estimated total pay of $19.50–$21.50 per hour including tips; tips are not guaranteed. Employees may choose to be paid daily, weekly, or biweekly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Cash handling experience.
• Excellent guest service skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to count money accurately.
• Ability to stand for long periods, work in small confined areas, and maneuver throughout all areas of the casino.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced and stressful environment.
• Ability to tolerate secondary smoke and loud noise.
• Ability to lift up to 26 lbs.
• Ability to stoop, bend, reach, twist, grip objects, kneel, crawl, and differentiate colors.
• Weekend, holiday, and varied hours may apply.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of 10-key by touch and strong math skills.
• Accounting or banking experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Cash checks; sell and redeem chips; process slots and table games jackpots; complete poker tournament paperwork; and balance cash drawers.
• Provide “Jackpot Guest Service.”
