About The Position
VOA is an organization operating across Ohio and Indiana, with more than 1,000 employees working in multiple impact areas. The Case Manager develops service plans to support stable, permanent housing and monitors clients for up to six months. The role also serves as an advocate and liaison between clients and community service providers to help ensure appropriate use of resources to meet clients’ needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human and/or social services or the behavioral sciences.
- Education and/or verifiable work experience with at-risk populations, such as people experiencing homelessness, veterans, people with behavioral health needs, people affected by drug or alcohol addiction, employment-program participants, youth, or residential-program participants.
Responsibilities
- Develop service plans designed to ensure stable, permanent housing.
- Monitor clients for up to six months.
- Act as an advocate and liaison between clients and community service providers.
- Help ensure appropriate utilization of resources to meet clients’ needs.
