About The Position

Medtronic is seeking an EP Mapping Specialist for its Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) team. This is a remote position, but the employee must reside within the assigned Tennessee territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. The role provides clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on EP mapping and navigation systems and other CAS products, while promoting their safe and effective use. It supports territory sales objectives and customer relationships in collaboration with local sales and clinical teams. Various levels may be available based on qualifications and experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma and at least 8 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation; or an associate degree and at least 6 years of related experience; or a bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of related experience.
• Must reside within the assigned territory and be available there each day for unscheduled needs.
• Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy; driving record will be reviewed.
• Ability to travel within the territory, including driving approximately 25–50% of the time, and occasionally travel outside the territory, potentially overnight.
• Ability to move throughout a facility and use a phone, keyboard, mouse, and personal computer.
• Ability to stand, sit, and walk for 8 hours a day.
• For a bachelor's degree earned outside the United States, the degree must satisfy the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).
• Must have unrestricted U.S. work authorization at hire and throughout employment for roles below Principal level.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in nursing, cardiovascular studies, life sciences, or a technical discipline, with at least four years of work experience in a cardiac field, hospital/clinic, or sales.
• Proven track record with technical training assignments.
• Experience in cardiac catheter ablation, an EP lab, a hospital/clinic, or EP medical sales providing technical or clinical support.
• Ability to travel more than 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on the EP mapping and navigation system and CAS products.
• Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on technical matters related to CAS products and procedures.
• Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures.
• Understand and support national, regional, and territory sales objectives to achieve or exceed sales goals for CAS products.
• Develop and cultivate customer relationships that result in incremental business.
• Partner with Account Managers, Regional Managers, and Area Directors to identify potential sales opportunities.
• Collaborate and strategize with the local sales team to conduct customer training on mapping and other Cardiac Ablation Solutions products.
• Collaborate and communicate with regional sales and clinical teams.
• Represent Medtronic CAS products, services, and support effectively to physicians and support staff.
• Serve as a regional champion, sharing experience and helping others become proficient in mapping technology.
