About The Position

Festival Foods is hiring a part-time Cart Runner in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Reporting to the Guest Services Manager, the Cart Runner helps provide exceptional guest service, supports parcel pickup, and keeps shopping carts available. The role contributes to a welcoming and safe shopping environment through friendly interactions, effective communication, and adherence to Guest Services standards. Work may take place in all weather conditions, and the schedule may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Communicate effectively with associates and customers.
Read, count, and write accurately.
Operate the equipment necessary to perform the job.
Bag items efficiently while maintaining product integrity.
Stand in place for long periods, walk in the store, bend, stoop, and regularly lift or push up to 50 pounds.
Possess fine-finger and broad manual dexterity, and eye-hand-foot coordination to operate equipment.
Work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed, and work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, professional service by greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
Communicate courteously and cooperatively with guests and associates.
Maintain Guest Services expectations and standards.
Collect shopping carts from the parking lot and surrounding areas and return them to the store in all weather conditions.
Provide prompt parcel pickup service.
Share guest requests with management and proactively resolve issues as they arise.
Support customer service initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
Attend work regularly and on time in accordance with the schedule, and provide adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences.
