About The Position

Festival Foods is seeking a part-time Cart Runner at its La Crosse - Village location. The role helps deliver exceptional guest service by assisting with parcel pickup, keeping shopping carts available, and contributing to a welcoming and safe shopping environment. The Cart Runner provides friendly, professional assistance to guests, communicates effectively with customers and associates, and maintains Guest Services standards. Work may take place in all weather conditions, and the schedule may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Ability to communicate effectively with associates and customers.
Ability to read, count, and write accurately.
Proficiency operating the equipment necessary to perform the job.
Ability to bag efficiently while maintaining product integrity.
Ability to stand for long periods, walk in the store, bend, stoop, and regularly lift or push up to 50 pounds.
Fine finger and broad manual dexterity, and eye-hand-foot coordination to operate equipment.
Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed and in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, professional service and assist guests with questions or concerns.
Communicate courteously and cooperatively with guests and associates.
Maintain Guest Services expectations and standards.
Collect shopping carts from the parking lot and surrounding areas and return them to the store in all weather conditions.
Provide prompt parcel pickup service.
Share guest requests with management and proactively resolve issues as they arise.
Support other duties and customer service initiatives as assigned.
Attend work regularly and on time according to the schedule, and provide adequate notice when arranging a replacement for occasional absences.
