About The Position

As a part-time Cart Runner at Festival Foods in Fond du Lac, you help provide guests with an exceptional, safe, and welcoming shopping experience. You assist with parcel pick-up and ensure shopping carts are readily available by collecting them from the parking lot and surrounding areas and returning them to the store in all weather conditions. You also communicate with guests and associates, uphold Guest Services standards, share guest requests with management, and help resolve issues proactively. The schedule may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with associates and customers.
• Ability to read, count, and write accurately.
• Proficiency in operating the equipment needed to perform the job.
• Ability to stand for long periods, walk in the store, bend, stoop, and regularly lift or push up to 50 pounds.
• Fine finger and broad manual dexterity, and eye-hand-foot coordination to operate equipment.
• Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed and in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional service to guests, including greeting them, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
• Communicate courteously and cooperatively with guests and associates.
• Maintain Guest Services expectations and standards.
• Collect shopping carts from the parking lot and surrounding areas and return them to the store in all weather conditions.
• Provide prompt parcel pick-up service.
• Share guest requests with management and proactively help resolve issues.
• Support other duties and customer service initiatives as assigned.
• Attend work regularly and on time, following the work schedule and giving adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences.
