About The Position

Festival Foods is hiring a part-time Cart Runner at its Kimberly, Wisconsin location. Reporting to the Guest Services Manager, the Cart Runner provides friendly, professional guest service, helps with parcel pick-up, and collects carts from the parking lot and surrounding areas, returning them to the store in all weather conditions. The role contributes to a welcoming and safe shopping environment, maintains Guest Services standards, communicates guest requests to management, and proactively addresses issues when possible. Other duties may be assigned, including supporting customer-service initiatives.

The position requires regular, timely attendance and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences. Work schedules may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with associates and customers.
• Ability to read, count, and write accurately.
• Proficiency in operating all equipment necessary to perform the job.
• Ability to bag efficiently while maintaining product integrity.
• Ability to stand in place for long periods; walk in the store; and bend, stoop, lift, or push up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Fine finger and broad manual dexterity, and eye-hand-foot coordination to operate equipment.
• Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed, and in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with friendly, professional service, including greetings, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
• Communicate courteously and cooperatively with guests and associates.
• Maintain Guest Services expectations and standards.
• Collect carts from the parking lot and surrounding areas and return them to the store in all weather conditions.
• Perform prompt parcel pick-up service.
• Share guest requests with management and proactively resolve issues as they arise.
• Support customer-service initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular, timely attendance and provide adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences.
