About The Position

Festival Foods is seeking a part-time Cart Runner in Janesville, Wisconsin. The role supports a welcoming and safe shopping environment by providing friendly guest service, collecting carts, and offering prompt parcel pick-up. Cart Runners work in all weather conditions and help maintain Guest Services standards while communicating guest requests and concerns to management. The position may also include other duties that support customer service initiatives. The work schedule may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Ability to communicate effectively with associates and customers.
Ability to read, count, and write accurately.
Proficiency in operating the equipment necessary to perform the job.
Ability to bag efficiently while maintaining product integrity.
Ability to stand for long periods, walk in the store, bend, stoop, and regularly lift or push up to 50 pounds.
Fine finger and broad manual dexterity, and eye-hand-foot coordination to operate equipment.
Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, professional service by greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
Communicate courteously and cooperatively with guests and associates.
Maintain Guest Services expectations and standards.
Collect shopping carts from the parking lot and surrounding areas and return them to the store in all weather conditions.
Provide prompt parcel pick-up service.
Share guest requests with management and proactively resolve issues as they arise.
Support other customer service initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
Maintain regular, timely attendance and provide adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences.
