Cart Pusher - Full Time (Weekends Required)

About The Position

As an entry-level member of Meijer’s Courtesy Team, the Cart Pusher supports store services and customer service while interacting with customers and providing above-and-beyond service. The role involves returning shopping carts to the store, maintaining outdoor and indoor areas, assisting across several store departments, and performing other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

Highly organized with a keen sense for details.
Strong listening and communication skills.
Able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling products or using various equipment.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
Coordinate and collect trash from the parking lot, lawn, and inside the store.
Safely use snow removal equipment to remove snow.
Handle perishable and salvage returns.
Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
Work with the service desk, store entrance, check lanes, and parking lot areas.
Work with the Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, and Floral departments.
Perform other duties as assigned or required.
