Cart Pusher - Full Time (Weekends Required)

About The Position

This entry-level Meijer Courtesy Team Member role supports store services and customer service. The position involves returning shopping carts from outside the store to the interior, maintaining cleanliness in the parking lot and store, and assisting with store operations and customer-facing areas. Team members may also perform other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

Be highly organized with a keen sense for details.
Have strong listening and communication skills.
Be able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling products or using equipment.
Be able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
Coordinate and collect trash from the parking lot, lawn, and inside the store.
Safely use snow removal equipment to remove snow.
Handle perishable and salvage returns.
Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
Work with the service desk, store entrance, check lanes, and parking lot areas.
Work with the Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, and Floral departments.
Perform other duties as assigned or required.
