About The Position

Meijer Courtesy Team Members provide customer service and support a variety of retail tasks and store services. Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside the store to the store interior, collect trash, assist with snow removal, handle perishable and salvage returns, and perform basic store and restroom cleaning. They work with the service desk, store entrance, check lanes, parking lot, and a range of store departments. Other duties may be assigned or required.

Requirements

• Be highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Have strong listening and communication skills.
• Be able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling products or using equipment.
• Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect trash from the parking lot, lawn, and inside the store.
• Safely use snow removal equipment to remove snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with the service desk, store entrance, check lanes, and parking lot areas.
• Work with Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, and Floral departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
