About The Position
As a member of the Front End Customer Service Team, the Cart Collector helps ensure customers end their shopping trips with a positive experience. The role involves providing friendly customer service, carefully handling bagged items, and keeping the parking lot clear and safe. Cart Collectors leave a lasting impression and help turn first-time shoppers into loyal Wegmans customers. The position is located at 53 Third Avenue, Burlington, MA 01803. Availability is required for afternoons and evenings, including weekends. Applicants must be 18 years or older. The pay range is $18–$19 per hour.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Availability for afternoon and evening shifts, including weekends.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the appearance and safety of the parking lot.
- Gather shopping carts and pick up garbage.
- Engage customers in friendly conversation while making eye contact and smiling.
- Proactively offer additional assistance or services and thank customers for shopping at Wegmans.
- Offer additional service during inclement weather.
- Carefully handle bagged items.
