About The Position

As an entry-level team member on Meijer’s Courtesy Team, you will perform a variety of retail tasks and support additional store services, product needs, and customer service. Courtesy Team Members interact with people and provide above-and-beyond customer service. Duties may include other tasks as assigned or required.

Requirements

Highly organized with a keen sense for details.
Great listening and communication skills.
Able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling products or using various equipment.
Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
Coordinate and collect trash from the parking lot, lawn, and inside the store.
Safely use snow removal equipment to remove snow.
Handle perishable and salvage returns.
Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
Work with the service desk, store entrance, checkout lanes, and parking lot areas.
Work with the Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, and Floral departments.
Perform other duties as assigned or required.
