Carpenter Trainee - Paid Training!
About The Position
West Shore Home is seeking a Carpenter Trainee to assist with safe, effective installation work while following company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols. The role includes helping install replacement windows and exterior doors and providing customers with a five-star experience in their homes. Paid training and professional growth potential are offered. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a 6:30 AM start time at the warehouse. The approximate pay range is $17–$20 per hour; final compensation may vary based on factors including background, knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.
Requirements
- Experience in carpentry, remodeling, or construction, or a willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- A valid smartphone or smart device to log into company-required systems using two-factor authentication.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
- Travel to customers’ homes, greet them, and establish rapport.
- Remove existing window or door spaces, install replacement windows and exterior doors, and replace trim.
- Clean up thoroughly and take care of the customer’s home.
- Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
- Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols while assisting with installations.
