About The Position

The Carpenter Trainee will assist with safe, effective residential bathroom installations while following company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols. The role includes preparing materials and trucks at the warehouse, traveling to customers’ homes, removing existing bath or shower fixtures, installing new tubs or pans and wall surrounds, and updating plumbing when needed. The installer is expected to provide customers with a 5-star experience and leave their homes clean. Paid training is provided.

Requirements

• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, or construction, or a willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• A valid smartphone or smart device to log into company-required systems using two-factor authentication.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
• Travel to customers’ homes, greet them, and establish rapport.
• Demolish existing bath or shower fixtures.
• Install new tubs or pans and wall surrounds, and update plumbing if needed.
• Clean up thoroughly and take care in customers’ homes.
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
• Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols.
