About The Position

West Shore Home is hiring a Carpenter Trainee to assist with residential remodeling installations. The Installer supports safe, effective work in accordance with company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols while providing customers with a five-star experience. The role includes paid training and opportunities for professional growth.

The position is based in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Employees arrive at the warehouse at 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks, travel to customers’ homes, remove existing bath or shower fixtures, and install new tubs or pans and wall surrounds. Plumbing may also be updated when needed. Employees clean up the work area, collect paperwork and payment, and return to the warehouse. The schedule is Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, or construction, or a willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• A valid smartphone or smart device to access company-required systems using two-factor authentication.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
• Travel to customers’ homes, greet customers, and establish rapport.
• Demolish existing bath or shower installations and install a new tub or pan and wall surround.
• Update plumbing when needed.
• Clean up thoroughly and take care of the customer’s home.
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
• Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols to perform safe and effective installations.
• Provide customers with a five-star experience.
