About The Position

Sunridge Assisted Living is seeking a fun, dedicated, compassionate, and energetic caregiver to serve as a vital link between residents, the nurse, and other facility staff. The role involves caring for elderly residents in a fun and rewarding environment and helping residents with activities of daily living. The position is part-time and performed in person.

Requirements

Basic computer skills.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Completion of a state-approved CNA certification training course.
Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively.
Ability to work under pressure and handle critical situations calmly.
Effective communication with residents, staff, family members, and professionals, including communicating sensitive information with empathy.
Love for the elderly and a positive, compassionate attitude.
Background check upon hire.
Food handlers permit.
CNA certification.
CPR/First Aid certification.
TB test.

Nice To Haves

One year of caregiving experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

Care for elderly residents.
Respond to resident calls in a timely manner.
Assist residents with all activities of daily living (ADLs).
Document changes or concerns in residents’ conditions and notify the RCC and nurse.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator or Resident Care Coordinator.
