About The Position

Caring Senior Service is hiring Caregivers, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide compassionate, non-medical, one-on-one in-home care to seniors in Amarillo and surrounding communities. Caregivers help older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes while building relationships with clients and families.

The role offers full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities, with flexible day, evening, overnight, weekend, and extended shifts. The local office provides communication, scheduling support, training, and ongoing assistance.

Requirements

• At least one year of caregiving experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check.
• Patient, compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.

Nice To Haves

• CNA, HHA, or PCA certification; preferred but not required.
• Experience assisting with personal care and daily living activities.
• Experience in home care, senior care, assisted living, memory care, dementia care, hospice, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, or private-duty caregiving.
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Support walking, mobility, positioning, and transfers.
• Help with toileting and incontinence needs.
• Prepare meals and provide eating assistance.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist with errands, transportation, and appointments.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ conditions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home.
• Protect clients’ privacy, dignity, and independence.
• Communicate with clients, families, and office staff.
• Document care provided and promptly report concerns.
