About The Position
Caring Senior Service is hiring compassionate, reliable caregivers to provide individualized in-home care to seniors in Corpus Christi, Port Aransas, Beeville, and surrounding areas. The role supports seniors in remaining safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes while improving their quality of life. Positions are available full-time, part-time, and PRN, with flexible daytime, evening, overnight, weekend, and extended shifts. Pay is $12–$14 per hour, paid bi-weekly. The company describes a supportive workplace with reliable scheduling, open communication, and assistance from a local office team. Caregivers may receive consistent client assignments when available and opportunities for training, skill development, and career advancement.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of caregiving experience.
- Reliable transportation.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check.
- Consistent attendance and professional communication.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a CNA, HHA, or PCA is appreciated but is not required for all positions.
- Bilingual applicants are welcome.
- Applicants with backgrounds in home care, senior care, assisted living, memory care, dementia care, hospice, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, or private-duty caregiving are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Offer companionship and meaningful conversation.
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Support mobility, walking, and safe transfers.
- Help with toileting and incontinence care.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Help with errands and transportation needs.
- Accompany seniors to medical appointments.
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ conditions.
- Keep the home environment safe and comfortable.
- Respect clients’ privacy, dignity, and independence.
- Communicate with families and the care team.
- Record care activities during each shift.
