About The Position

Caring Senior Service is hiring Caregivers, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide personalized, non-medical, one-on-one in-home care to seniors in San Antonio, Floresville, Boerne, Schertz, and nearby communities. The role supports seniors’ safety, comfort, dignity, and independence while helping them remain in their homes. Caregivers work with clients and families and receive support from the local office team. Full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities are available, with flexible day, evening, overnight, weekend, and extended shifts. Pay is $12.50–$16 per hour, paid bi-weekly.

Requirements

• At least one year of professional or personal caregiving experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check.
• Caring, dependable, patient, and professional attitude.

Nice To Haves

• CNA, HHA, or PCA certification is preferred but not required.
• Experience with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs) is preferred.
• A valid driver's license and current auto insurance may be required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
• Previous experience in home care, senior care, assisted living, memory care, dementia care, hospice, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, or private-duty caregiving is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Support walking, mobility, positioning, and transfers.
• Help with toileting and incontinence care.
• Prepare meals and assist clients with eating.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist with errands, transportation, and appointments.
• Monitor and report changes in client conditions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home.
• Respect client privacy, dignity, and independence.
• Communicate with clients, families, and office staff.
• Document care provided and report concerns promptly.
