About The Position
Caring Senior Service is hiring compassionate and experienced Caregivers, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide non-medical, one-on-one in-home care to seniors in Austin, Round Rock, Kyle, and surrounding communities. Caregivers help older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes while building meaningful connections with clients and families. The role requires at least one year of professional or personal caregiving experience and reliable transportation. Flexible scheduling is available across day, evening, overnight, weekend, extended, and PRN shifts. Pay is $16–$18 per hour, paid bi-weekly, with Pay-On-Demand available. Requirements
- At least one year of professional or personal caregiving experience.
- Reliable transportation.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check.
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.
Nice To Haves
- CNA, HHA, or PCA certification; preferred but not required.
- Experience with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience in home care, senior care, assisted living, memory care, dementia care, hospice, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, or private-duty caregiving.
Responsibilities
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Support walking, mobility, positioning, and transfers.
- Help with toileting and incontinence needs.
- Prepare meals and assist with eating.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Help with errands, transportation, and appointments.
- Monitor and report changes in client conditions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home.
- Respect client privacy, dignity, and independence.
- Communicate with clients, families, and office staff.
- Document care provided and report concerns promptly.
