Boise Area Caregiver 250 Sign On Bonus
About The Position
Home Helpers Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home services to clients in the Boise area. Caregivers help clients remain independent and safe in their homes by assisting with personal care, daily living activities, meals, housekeeping, laundry, errands, and companionship. Prior experience is not required; the company provides paid in-office initial training and ongoing training. Compensation is $12.00–$18.00 per hour, based on certifications and experience, with an additional $1–$4 per hour on select shifts. A $250 sign-on bonus is available in two $125 installments. To qualify for each installment, an employee must work at least 20 hours per week during the applicable pay period; failure to meet that requirement forfeits the applicable payment. Daily Pay is also offered. This is an independently operated franchise, and hiring decisions are made by the local franchisee.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check in accordance with state requirements.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the confidentiality of patient information.
- Assist with meal preparation, serving meals, cleaning meal-preparation areas, and helping clients eat as needed and applicable.
- Assist with personal care, including baths, dressing, grooming, denture care, and skin care.
- Perform housekeeping, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, taking out trash, dusting, cleaning the refrigerator, and washing and putting away dishes.
- Wash, dry, fold, and put away laundry, including completing laundry at a laundromat if needed.
- Run errands, such as grocery shopping, picking up medical supplies or prescriptions, and going to the post office.
- Assist with activities of daily living, transportation, and telehealth visits.
- Provide companionship.
- Be reliable, arrive on time, and maintain dependable attendance.
