About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide in-home services to a client in the Pocatello area. Caregivers help clients remain safe and independent in their own homes by assisting with daily living activities, personal care, meals, housekeeping, laundry, errands, and companionship. Prior experience is not required; the employer provides paid in-office training and ongoing training. Scheduling is flexible, and pay is based on certifications and experience. Compensation is $12.00–$18.00 per hour, with an additional $1–$4 per hour on select shifts. Daily Pay is available. Eligible employees may receive a $250 sign-on bonus in two $125 installments, subject to working at least 20 hours per week during each applicable pay period.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Pass a background check as required by state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the confidentiality of patient information.
• Assist with meal preparation, serving meals, cleaning meal preparation areas, and helping the patient eat when needed and applicable.
• Provide personal care, including baths, dressing, grooming, denture care, and skin care.
• Perform housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, taking out trash, dusting, cleaning the refrigerator, and washing and putting away dishes.
• Wash, dry, fold, and put away laundry, including using a laundromat if needed.
• Run errands such as grocery shopping, picking up medical supplies or prescriptions, and going to the post office.
• Assist with activities of daily living, transportation, and shopping.
• Assist with telehealth visits.
• Provide companionship.
• Be reliable, arrive on time, and rarely be absent from work.
