About The Position
Home Helpers Home Care is hiring Personal Care Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants to provide reliable, high-quality care that helps patients remain safe and independent in their own homes. Prior experience is not required. The company provides paid, in-office training to help employees begin their careers. Pay is based on certifications and experience, and flexible scheduling is available. Daily Pay is offered, allowing employees to receive payment the day after working. Select shifts offer an additional $1 to $4 per hour in shift differentials. Eligible employees may receive a $250 sign-on bonus in two $125 installments, paid across their first two paychecks. To qualify for each installment, employees must work at least 20 hours per week during the applicable pay period; failure to meet the requirement forfeits that installment.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Pass a background check in accordance with state requirements.
- At least 18 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the confidentiality of all patient information.
- Assist with meal preparation, serving meals, cleaning meal preparation areas, and helping patients eat as needed and applicable.
- Provide personal care, including tub, shower, or bed baths; assistance with dressing and grooming; and denture and skin care.
- Perform housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, taking out trash, dusting, cleaning the refrigerator, and washing and putting away dishes.
- Complete laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and putting away laundry, including at a laundromat if needed.
- Assist with errands such as grocery shopping, picking up medical supplies, and going to the post office.
- Be reliable and dependable, arrive on time, and rarely be absent from work.
