About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide in-home support to clients in the local Sandpoint area. Personal Care Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants help clients remain safe and independent in their own homes. Prior experience is not required; the company provides paid, in-office initial training and ongoing training. Compensation is $15.00–$20.00 per hour, based on certifications and experience, with additional shift differentials of $1–$4 per hour on select shifts. Eligible employees may receive a $250 sign-on bonus in two $125 installments, subject to working at least 20 hours per week during each applicable pay period. Daily Pay is available. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable transportation.
Pass a background check as required by state regulations.
Pass a drug screen as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Assist with meal preparation, serving meals, cleaning meal-preparation areas, and helping clients eat as needed.
Assist with personal care, including baths, dressing, grooming, denture care, and skin care.
Perform light housekeeping, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, taking out trash, cleaning the refrigerator, and washing and putting away dishes.
Wash, dry, fold, and put away laundry, including completing laundry at a laundromat if needed.
Run errands such as grocery shopping, picking up medical supplies or prescriptions, and going to the post office.
Assist with transportation, shopping, and telehealth visits.
Provide companionship.
Be reliable, arrive on time, and maintain dependable attendance.
