About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care is hiring Personal Care Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants to help patients remain independent and safe in their own homes. Prior experience is not required. The company provides paid, in-office training, and pay is based on certifications and experience. Scheduling is flexible. The posting offers an eligible $250 sign-on bonus, split into two $125 installments, subject to working at least 20 hours per week during each applicable pay period. Select shifts offer an additional $1 to $4 per hour in shift differentials. Daily Pay is available, allowing employees to be paid the day after working.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Pass a background check, per state requirements.
• Pass a drug screen, per state requirements.
• Be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality of all patient information.
• Assist with meal preparation, serving meals, cleanup, and eating as needed and applicable.
• Provide personal care, including tub, shower, or bed baths; dressing; grooming; denture care; and skin care.
• Perform housekeeping tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, taking out trash, dusting, cleaning the refrigerator, and washing and putting away dishes.
• Perform laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and putting away laundry, including at a laundromat if needed.
• Assist with errands such as grocery shopping, picking up medical supplies, and going to the post office.
• Be reliable and dependable, arrive on time, and avoid absences.
