About The Position

Visiting Angels is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated caregivers in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, to provide personalized, non-medical care to seniors in their own homes. The role focuses on assisting with daily needs while building meaningful connections and helping clients maintain their dignity and independence. Applicants must be able to provide proof of vaccination.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of paid professional caregiving experience through an agency.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to quality care.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance for applicable positions.
• Willingness to complete required background checks and onboarding procedures.
• Commitment to treating every client with dignity, kindness, and respect.
• Must be able to provide proof of vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Help with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist with errands and transportation as needed.
• Follow care plans and report changes in clients’ conditions.
