About The Position

Amada Senior Care is hiring experienced, dedicated caregivers in Newton, Texas, and surrounding communities. Caregivers provide compassionate, non-medical assistance tailored to each client's individual needs, helping seniors and veterans remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with weekend and overnight shifts available.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of caregiving experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.
• Be compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with gait belts and Hoyer lifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Transport clients to appointments and errands.
• Monitor client safety and overall well-being.
• Encourage independence and maintain daily routines.
