About The Position

Visiting Angels is hiring compassionate, reliable, and dedicated caregivers in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to provide personalized, non-medical care to seniors in their homes. Caregivers help clients maintain dignity, comfort, and independence through daily assistance, companionship, and support. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts. Applicants must provide proof of vaccination.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of paid professional caregiving experience through an agency.
• A compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in helping seniors.
• A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance for applicable positions.
• Willingness to complete required background checks and onboarding procedures.
• Commitment to treating every client with dignity, kindness, and respect.
• Must provide proof of vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Support mobility, transfers, and daily living activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Help with errands and transportation as needed.
• Follow individualized care plans and report changes in clients’ conditions.
