About The Position

TheKey is hiring experienced caregivers to provide one-to-one in-home care for aging adults in Tigard, Tualatin, Wilsonville, Lake Oswego, and surrounding communities. The role offers full-time and part-time opportunities, with particular interest in caregivers available for ongoing weekend coverage and daytime shifts. Pay is listed at $22–$25 per hour, and schedules are flexible. Caregivers support clients with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship. Requirements

At least 6 months of professional caregiving experience.
Experience with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia.
Empathy, compassion, and kindness.
Ability to use sound judgment and remain calm in a variety of situations.
Reliability, dependability, and punctuality.
At least 18 years of age.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to drive clients, with a vehicle, car insurance, and vehicle registration.
Compliance with state background screening requirements.
Eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Assist clients one-to-one with dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
Provide light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
Drive clients to appointments, run errands, and grocery shop.
Provide companionship and social and emotional support through activities such as games and puzzles.
