About The Position

Visiting Angels is hiring skilled and experienced caregivers in Philadelphia, particularly applicants living near IM | Health – Urgent Care, Family Practice & Physical Therapy. Caregivers provide companionship and help clients feel safe, comfortable, and supported in their homes. The role includes personal care, assistance with mobility and daily activities, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, laundry, and errands as needed. Caregivers follow each client’s care plan and keep the office or family informed about changes. Applicants must be able to provide proof of vaccination. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with flexible scheduling across day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts. Pay is $15–$20 per hour, with the final rate determined at orientation. Requirements

At least 2 years of professional caregiving experience.
Valid driver’s license.
Reliable vehicle and reliable transportation.
Recent TB test or willingness to complete required testing.
Able to provide proof of vaccination.
Reliable, patient, and compassionate approach.
Treat clients with kindness and respect.

Nice To Haves

CNA, HHA, PCA, or home-care experience.

Responsibilities

Spend time with clients and provide companionship.
Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and personal care.
Support clients with walking and daily activities.
Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
Help with light housekeeping and laundry.
Assist with errands when needed.
Follow the client’s care plan.
Update the office or family about changes in the client’s condition or circumstances.
Help clients feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.
