About The Position

AMADA Senior Care is hiring a compassionate, dependable, and professional caregiver to provide non-medical in-home care to seniors, including veterans, in the community. The role involves supporting clients with daily living activities and helping them live safely and comfortably at home. Caregivers must be willing to travel within a 25-mile radius of their home; travel is required up to 25%. Orientation is held at the Jasper, Texas office. This is a part-time position with 4–30 hours per week, flexible scheduling, and available 4-, 8-, and 10-hour shifts, including day and morning shifts.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Willingness to work with both male and female clients.
• Ability to travel within a 25-mile radius.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to perform all essential job duties.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of caregiving experience (preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and personal care.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility, including walks, transfers, and appointments.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Shop for groceries and run errands.
• Observe and report unusual incidents.
• Support clients with daily living activities.
