About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care is hiring Personal Care Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants to help patients remain safe and independent in their own homes. Prior experience is not required. The company provides paid, in-office training, and compensation is based on certifications and experience. Scheduling is flexible, and select shifts offer an additional $1 to $4 per hour. Eligible employees may receive a $250 sign-on bonus in two $125 installments, subject to working at least 20 hours per week during each applicable pay period. Daily Pay is available, allowing employees to receive pay the day after working.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Pass a background check as required by state requirements.
• At least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the confidentiality of all patient information.
• Assist with meal preparation, serving meals, cleaning meal-preparation areas, and helping patients eat as needed and applicable.
• Provide personal care, including tub, shower, or bed baths; dressing; grooming; denture care; and skin care.
• Perform housekeeping, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, taking out trash, dusting, cleaning the refrigerator, and washing and putting away dishes.
• Perform laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and putting away laundry; use a laundromat when needed.
• Assist with errands such as grocery shopping, picking up medical supplies, and going to the post office.
• Maintain reliable attendance, dependability, and punctuality.
