About The Position
Companions Forever is hiring caregivers for multiple service areas across Connecticut. Caregivers provide non-medical home care according to each client’s individualized Plan of Care, helping clients maintain independence and comfort at home. Available schedules include weekdays, weekends, awake overnights, and live-in shifts. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- Open availability is preferred.
- Experience as a caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or companion is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide non-medical home care in accordance with each client’s individualized Plan of Care.
- Transport clients to appointments and activities.
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, and grocery shopping.
- Help clients with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Document care and provide reminders as directed.
