About The Position
Companions Forever is hiring Caregivers to provide non-medical home care across multiple service areas in Connecticut. Caregivers follow each client's individualized Plan of Care and support clients with daily activities, transportation, household tasks, and companionship. Flexible shifts are available on weekdays and weekends, as well as awake overnight and live-in shifts.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- Open availability is preferred.
- Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide non-medical home care according to each client's individualized Plan of Care.
- Transport clients to appointments and activities.
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, and grocery shopping.
- Help clients with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Document care and provide reminders as directed.
