About The Position

Companions Forever is hiring Caregivers to provide non-medical home care across multiple service areas in Connecticut. Caregivers follow each client’s individualized Plan of Care and support clients with daily activities, transportation, household tasks, and companionship. Flexible schedules are available, including weekdays, weekends, awake overnights, and live-in shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

• Open availability is preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care according to each client’s individualized Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
