About The Position

Companions Forever is hiring Caregivers to provide non-medical home care across multiple service areas in Connecticut. Caregivers follow each client’s individualized Plan of Care and support clients in maintaining independence in the comfort of their homes. Flexible shifts are available on weekdays, weekends, overnight, and live-in. The role includes competitive hourly pay, direct deposit, holiday pay, paid time off, referral bonuses, medical and dental benefits, a 401(k), and ongoing online and in-person training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• Open availability is preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care according to each client’s individualized Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Help clients with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
