About The Position
Griswold Care Pairing, a non-medical home care registry, is seeking compassionate, personable, and experienced caregivers for live-in or hourly clients in the Pinehurst, North Carolina area. The role provides companionship and personal care to seniors, helping them live in the place they love. Live-in compensation is $180–$190 per day. Candidates must have at least one year of experience caring for elderly individuals and meet the listed background, reference, health clearance, certification, and driving requirements.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience caring for elderly individuals.
- Compassionate approach to providing personal care, homemaking, and companion services.
- Ability to pass a national background check.
- At least four recent professional references.
- Cleared fitness-to-work assessment and TB test.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Valid auto insurance.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and conversational engagement with clients.
- Perform light housekeeping and prepare meals.
- Provide medication and appointment reminders.
- Assist clients with grooming and bathing.
- Assist clients with toileting and incontinence issues.
- Provide Alzheimer’s and dementia care.
- Treat seniors and their property with dignity and respect.
- Complete a criminal background check.
