Caregiver (NOC Shift) - Senior Living Community - Shakopee
About The Position
Suite Living Senior Care is hiring Caregivers for its Shakopee assisted living and memory care community. Caregivers provide person-centered, personalized care and support to residents. Applicants may be experienced or newly certified, but must have at least six months of caregiving experience. New team members receive four days of paid onboarding training at the Arden Hills, Minnesota training center, with ongoing support and development from experienced leadership. The role is for the NOC shift, 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Part-time and full-time employees must be available to work every other weekend.
Requirements
- At least six months of caregiving experience.
- At least 18 years old.
- Ability to pass medications.
- Be a team player with excellent communication skills, empathy, and reliability.
- Availability for the NOC shift, 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
- Availability to work every other weekend.
Nice To Haves
- Caregiving experience in assisted living or memory care.
- CNA certification.
- CPR/First Aid knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support resident mobility and transfers within the facility.
- Assist with medication administration; training is provided.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation.
- Provide light housekeeping and meal assistance.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to the leadership team.
- Respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations.
