About The Position

Suite Living Senior Care is hiring caregivers for its Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Shakopee. Caregivers work directly with residents to provide personalized, person-centered care and support. The role is open to experienced or newly certified caregivers with a heart for seniors. New team members complete four days of paid onboarding training, Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Arden Hills, Minnesota training center. The company also provides ongoing support and development from experienced leadership. The position is for the NOC shift, 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Part-time and full-time shifts are available. All part-time and full-time shifts require availability to work every other weekend.

Requirements

At least 6 months of caregiving experience; Assisted Living or Memory Care experience is preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to pass medications; training is provided.
Team player with excellent communication, empathy, and reliability.
Availability to work every other weekend for part-time and full-time shifts.

Nice To Haves

CNA certification is preferred but not required.
CPR/First Aid knowledge is preferred.
Caregiving experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Support residents with mobility and transfers within the facility.
Assist with medication administration; training is provided.
Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation.
Provide light housekeeping and meal assistance.
Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions to the leadership team.
Respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations.
